Public Relations

The Public Relations Ministry is responsible for the marketing efforts of the ministry including public relations, web page, and advertising in print, radio, and television. They also provide audio, video, and photographic support during worship services and special events.

The UCFI PR Ministry seeks to present the Gospel and services of UCFI to the community and the world in such a way so as to make people eager to participate and to become believers and disciples, or for those already participating, to convict and transform them to do greater works.

The Public Relations Ministry advances the vision of our Bishop and the ministries of UCFI, encouraging, promoting and equipping UCFI to further advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the community – to the glory of God! As a church, we hope to win people by presenting the Gospel Jesus Christ—our approach is to take the ministry to the people. We want to be known for our willingness to take the Gospel from within the walls of our building to affect the lives of those we come into contact.

This ministry assists UCFI leadership and ministries by developing strategies for promotion of the value added to the community, and our society by our church ministries, services, activities, programs and events.

Matthew 5:14-16, MSG—”You’re here to be light. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God..”

1 Corinthians 9:19, 21-23, MSG—”I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people. I kept my bearings in Christ—but I’ve become a servant to lead those I meet into a God-saved life. I do all this because of the Message. I didn’t just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it!”

Why serve under the PR Ministry?

Because everything we do as a body of Christ sends a message – both to members and those outside our fellowship in the community and world. It is because of this ministry people will find out not only who UCFI is but also what we are doing for the Kingdom!

Servants of this ministry should possess various skills necessary to accomplish the work of the ministry (i.e. writing, graphic design, social media, communications, information technology, business, multi-media presentations or web design).
